NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES BEGINS AT 12:00:01 AM. (ET) ON AUGUST 1, 2009 AND ENDS AT 11:59:59 P.M. (ET) ON JULY 31, 2010 (THE “SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD”).
1. OFFICIAL CODES: There are no official codes needed for this sweepstakes. For official rules visit www.pimpedoutmower.com or send a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Engine Answerman Sweepstakes, 4400 S. Kildare, Chicago, IL 60632.
2. HOW TO ENTER: (a) Enter at Kiosk at any event the Engine Answerman attends. As event schedule can be viewed by visiting www.goldeagle.com, then go to the Engine Answerman page and click on “schedule of tour dates”. (b) Or go to www.pimpedoutmower.com and enter online. Each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the record holder of the email account from which the entry originated. No incomplete or altered entries will be accepted. (c) Must be 18 years or older to win.
3. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING: The winner will be determined from among all eligible entries for the Entry Period only, in a random drawing to be conducted in August of 2010. “Entry Period” means the period beginning at 12:00:01 A.M. (ET) on August 1, 2009 and ending at 11:59:59 P.M. (ET) on July 31, 2010.
4. PRIZE: One (1) Sweepstakes Prize will be awarded for the Entry Period drawing described above. The Sweepstake Prize includes a “Racing-Inspired” customize lawnmower that will be delivered to winner. A list of the dates of event locations will be available on www.goldeagle.com during the Sweepstakes Period. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) = $5,000. Total AVR on all prizes: $5,000; any difference between stated ARV and actual value of Sweepstakes Prize will not be awarded. The prize will be awarded, assuming a sufficient number of eligible entries. Sponsor reserves right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Sponsor responsible only for delivery of prizes; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Limit: one (1) Grand Prize per family or household.
5. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: The Prize winner will be notified immediately upon selection in the month of August 2010. Winners agree to use of name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.
6. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individual legal residents of the United States, age eighteen (18) or older as of August 1, 2009 except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Gold Eagle and promotions agencies.
7. MISCELLANEOUS: This Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Illinois. Any and all legal actions to claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the state of Illinois. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges, and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
8. CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9. General Matters: Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, Stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s email account to receive email messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register or to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or to enter will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Sweepstakes, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
